We currently face the greatest challenge in the history of humanity: the climate emergency. A crisis that is not only environmental but also social, economic, mental, political, and sanitary. And how can we change this situation if what we have learned throughout life is part of the same logic that generated these problems?
We need to transgress the way we currently live and behave. To transgress means to go beyond, to cross, and to challenge old structures. To think and do things differently.
Through its learning journeys, the LivMundi Institute seeks to promote socio-environmental awareness and encourage people – especially young people and women – to become transgressors, tread new paths and boost the changes we need to see across the globe.
We also support initiatives led by these transgressors within their own territories through mentoring and connections with our network. We addtionally carry out our own initiatives, such as the LivMundi Festival.
Our socio-environmental education initiatives reflect the complex, interconnected, and interdependent nature of life.
Those who participate in our initiatives are co-authors of their own learning processes.
Those where individuals see themselves as part of their own surroundings: their communities, beliefs, and identities. Our initiatives emerge from these territories.
Technology is essencial in promoting the dissemination of socio-environmental beliefs and values.
We have activated our network of partners to take powerful action towards our goals.
